Vino Kumar,
Director of Asset Protection, Tarkenton Financial Services
  Vino (also known as Vinod Kumar Ramgopal) came to the U.S. in 1969 from India. His late father, Rev. Ramgopal was a converted Christian from Hinduism in 1930. Vino is an independent insurance broker since 1975 and specializes in tax-free retirement planning, professional pay check protection planning, and "retirement rescue planning" from taxable to tax-free position. His former employers include Metropolitan Life and Prudential Insurance. His main objective is to educate clients in making intelligent decisions, and his practice is based on simplicity, honesty, and truth, providing solutions to the most critical financial challenges that most folks over the age of 50 face today.

Donald R. Lamar,
Chief Development Officer & Senior Vice President,
Drayton, Drayton & Lamar, Inc.

Donald is a seasoned entrepreneur with an extensive background in strategic management and technology innovation. From 1988 to 1990 he was a senior simulations engineer for McDonald Douglas Aircraft Company where he performed avionics software and systems testing of the MD11 commercial airliner. From 1990 to 1993, Donald worked at General Dynamics to assist in development efforts of the Navy's A12 stealth fighter program. Donald co-founded Drayton, Drayton & Lamar in 1995 and currently oversees a staff of 80 full time employees with offices in two states approaching revenues of $10 million. DDL's portfolio includes a wide range of IT and business improvement/integrated services offerings and a Government Services Division located in Alexandria, Virginia.

Gerald "Gerry" Baron, 
Director, SATCOM Sales, Rockwell Collins, Inc.
where he led the business development team of 8 responsible for over $200 million in orders for SATCOM products and services. Prior to joining the firm in 2008, Gerry spent eight years in senior and executive leadership positions leading Sales, Marketing, Program Management, Product Management, Software Development, or Customer Services for software companies including S1 Corporation, Magnet Communications, and S2 Systems, Inc., and four years running several consulting and services businesses of his own. He is a graduate of MIT and a 2013 candidate for an MBA from Goizueta Business School.

Lynwood Maddox, 
Attorney at Law with Maddox and Maddox.
  Lynwood attended Middle Georgia College, Emory University and John Marshall Law School and was admitted to practice law in Georgia in 1954. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors of Lee College, was one of the hosts of 700 Club for CBN and served as International Director and President of the Atlanta Chapter of FGB MFI for more than 25 years. (See June 27th below.)

Dave Thomas,
EMA Industrial Sales Account Representative for the State of Georgia.
 

EMA specializes in the repair of industrial electronics with a particular emphasis on variable speed motor drives, and serves a national and occasionally international marketplace. Prior to his current position with EMA, Dave worked for 25 years in the electrical wholesale industry and also owned his own consulting company for approximately six years with a focus on working with small business in the areas of analysis, design and implementation of sales and marketing plans, business enhancement, budgets, cost minimization services and turn-around solutions. Dave holds a business degree from East Carolina University and a Masters Degree in Biblical studies from Dallas Theological Seminary.

Matthew J. Stevens,  
V.P., Cbeyond Professional Services. 
 

In this role, Matthew is responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer value and satisfaction by developing the strategy and leading the execution of service delivery for Cbeyond customers across the company's technology portfolio. He has 20+ years of technology professional services experience and has built and led multiple successful technology professional services businesses serving clients including Earthlink, Corning Cable Systems, Coca-Cola, Choicepoint, and Southern Company. Matthew is an active member of the Atlanta technology community and serves on the Board of Directors of High Tech Ministries and The 3:15 Project.


JUNE 27 Lynwood Maddox,
  Attorney at Law with Maddox and Maddox.
  Lynwood Maddox will share testimonies the last Wednesday of each month from his many years in serving Jesus in the marketplace and Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International. We are truly blessed to have Lynwood's sharing to stir us up and fuel a fire within us, as Paul says to Timothy in II Timothy 1:6, "Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you." We encourage you to invite your friends who need a touch from God through the testimonies of the businessmen who have shared weekly since 1985.
