Past Speakers for November - December 2013

NOV 6 Open Mic
  Testimonies by luncheon attendees.

NOV 13 Michael Tart,
Internet and Sales Specialist, Sutherlin Nissan Automotive Group.
Growing up in a housing project in New York, I was exposed to drugs, alcohol, sex and violence at a very young age. I turned to God because I knew if I followed that path I was going to jail or be killed. I was led to a Spirit-filled church, received Jesus as Lord and Savior and the adventure began! I traveled across the United States and Europe, and 17 years of restaurant management primed me for bigger opportunities. From 2008 to 2013, I had three restaurants close and I was left wondering what my next move would be. I was led to automotive sales and became the #1 sales representative selling 200 vehicles my first year.

NOV 20 Michael Herring,
Safety, Security, and Workers Comp Manager, Birchwood Foods, Norcross Georgia.
Michael has more than 30 years of experience in industrial safety and has helped lead his facility at Birchwood Foods to a 44% reduction in accidents thus far in 2013. In the spirit of entrepreneurism, he is also a Regional Manager for Likes Local, A Google Certified Partner. Michael is also a United States Air Force Retiree with over 22 years of service. Michael is a member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church where he has served as President and Vice President of the Men of Faith Choir, Co-Chairman of the Men's Ministry and Co-Facilitator of the Men's Bible Study group.
