JULY 13 Brian David,
President/CEO of American Soil Associates, Inc.(ASA).
 

Brian is an engineer, entrepreneur, songwriter, and Bible teacher who has a love and passion for the nation of Israel. ASA is now a distributor for Megavoice, an Israeli company that manufactures solar powered audio bibles. He also helps coordinate business between the southeastern U.S. and Israel specializing in water technology and agricultural applications. ASA focused on soil surveying and civil engineering from 2003 until 2015 when this division was sold. Brian previously worked in wholesale distribution as owner of Piedmont Floral Supply from 1988 until 2003 when that business was sold. He also briefly worked for the University of Georgia after receiving his BSAE from UGA 30 years ago, and earlier this year he formed In The Word, a ministry promoting radio Bible teaching and scripture-based musical compositions.


JULY 20 Jim Hensley,
Division Sales Manager, Guaranty Trust Mortgage, Subsidiary of
Volunteer State Bank.
  Jim provides strategic leadership for eight account executives in the eastern half of the country. His team generates over $100 million in residential loan production per month from 25 states. In his 30+ years in the mortgage banking field, he has had executive sales level positions for national lending platforms with financial companies such as Fireman Fund, Pittsburgh National Bank, Regions Bank and Fifth Third Bank, resulting in $40 billion in loan production. He is a past board member of North Georgia Children's Center, a published author and 6-gallon blood donor. Jim holds a BS degree in Business Administration with a Finance Major from Ohio State University, and he has completed MBA courses at Wright State University and Eastern Michigan University.

JULY 27 Andrew Schlehr,
Founder & CEO of Innovative Healthcare (IHC).
  Andrew has over 30 years experience as a healthcare executive with accolades in servicing major national accounts. Andrew served as Regional Vice President for a leading edge national provider of medical equipment for eight years. He then became the Eastern Regional Manager where he was instrumental in the acquisition of a device used for Gyn procedures, pre-FDA approval. He was pivotal in developing an in-office mobile delivery model which resulted in the formation of Innovative Healthcare. To Andrew these initials stand for I Honor Christ. He continues to cultivate relationships with manufacturers to lower capital expenses and provide turnkey systems to physicians' offices from personalized scheduling, experienced mobile clinicians and professional support staff.

AUG 10 Tom Burgess,
Owner/President, Christian Brothers Automotive, Cumming, GA.
  Tom attended Syracuse University, then served 23 years in the Air Force. In his early Air Force years, he was the AWACS primary strike controller the first night of Desert Storm and then later spent three years as a counter-drug officer stopping the flow of narcotics into the U.S., and three years as an Associate Professor teaching in the Management Department at the U.S. Air Force Academy. His final assignment with the Air Force was on board Joint-STARS as an Instructor/Evaluator Mission Crew Commander. Tom retired as a Lieutenant Colonel and then went to work for Northrop Grumman as a Systems Engineer modernizing the aircraft he flew on while on active duty. Due to the constant travel that took him away from his family and the desire to own his own business, he took a leap of faith and opened a Christian Brothers Automotive repair facility.

AUG 17 Jay Lin,
President and Owner of Pacific Ventures, Inc.,
  which provides land development, new construction, and tenant build-out for commercial facilities. Prior to that, Jay was Vice President and Owner of Forest Builders Group, Inc., which was a residential home builder in the metro Atlanta area. He has been an entrepreneur since 1989, having been involved in several business ventures including sporting goods importing, photo finishing, automotive after market parts importing, export auto parts, buying and selling farm land, used car dealership, outdoor furniture retail, granite fabrication, metal recycling and concrete and retaining wall contractor. Jay was encouraged by a group of friends to run for Johns Creek City Council in early 2015 . He was elected after a run-off election in December of 2015 and has served in that capacity for the last seven months.

AUG 24 Lynwood Maddox,
Attorney at Law with Maddox and Maddox.
  Lynwood attended Middle Georgia College, Emory University and John Marshall Law School and was admitted to practice law in Georgia in 1954. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors of Lee College, was one of the hosts of 700 Club for CBN and served as International Director and President of the Atlanta Chapter of FGBMFI for more than 25 years.

AUG 31 Blake Thomas,
Special Projects Coordinator for AFLAC.
  Blake was an executive recruiter for 15 years placing engineers, IT consultants, and most recently, finance and accounting professionals in contract and permanent positions. Thirteen years ago he decided to leave the "security" of working for corporate America and start his own business as an insurance professional representing AFLAC, the leader in the voluntary supplemental benefit market. Blake has been married to his loving wife, Mary, for twenty years and has an Eighteen year old daughter who will be attending Georgia Southern this Fall and his second child, a son is Ten (10) Years old and a 5th Grader at State Bridge Crossing Elementary. Blake has been a Johns Creek Resident over 10 years.
