NOV 08 James Davie,
President, Trextel.
  Trextel offers an expansive set of communication solutions, from converged voice, data, and video services to network deployment and maintenance. James brought 30 years of technology and leadership experience to Trextel, with expertise in startup, turnaround and M&A environments. He was co-founder of Optimus Solutions and Canvas Systems, both of which achieved revenues of $120M before being acquired. He was also an initial investor in Corus360 which was recently acquired. James earned a BA in Political Science from Vanderbilt University and holds numerous technology certifications including Six Sigma, change management, and ISO 9001/14001.

NOV 15 Lanny Courson,
Co-Owner of Blue Sky Specialties, LLC,
  a brokerage firm for printing and promotional products. Lanny has been in the printing business for over 40 years. He is involved in sales and production of all print material and promotional products for the firm. Blue Sky has been in business since 2009. Prior to this, Lanny was Print Shop Manager for AAA Blueprint, and also founder of Harvest Press, a printing company in Norcross. Lanny has three children in the metro area, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

NOV 22 Lee Tingler,
Sales Associate in the Electrical, Plumbing and Hardware Departments for Home Depot.
  Lee started out in the music industry as a recording engineer working at Dukoff Recording, eventually owning his own recording studio and supply company in Miami, Florida. He developed the SolderBuddy device for holding various kinds of audio, video, RC and Ham radio connectors for soldering and connection purposes after moving to Atlanta in 1997. Recently, he has also taught at Lanier Technical College as an adjunct teacher in the electronics department teaching a program he wrote that teaches students proper soldering techniques. He has also written a small book on soldering practices called The Artful Solderer. Lee served in the US Army and Korea and holds a degree in communications from Miami Dade College.

NOV 29 Jay Lin,
President and Owner of Pacific Ventures, Inc.,
  which provides land development, new construction, and tenant build-out, for commercial facilities. Prior to that, Jay was VP and Owner of Forest Builders Group, Inc., which was a residential home builder in the metro Atlanta area. He has been a entrepreneur since 1989 having been involved in several business ventures including sporting goods importing, photo finishing, automotive after market parts importing, export auto parts, buying and selling farm land, used car dealership, outdoor furniture retail, granite fabrication, metal recycling and concrete and retaining wall contractor. He also ran for Johns Creek City Council in early 2015 and was elected after a run-off election in December of 2015.

DEC 13 Tyler Johnson,
Founder and CEO of PrivOps.
  Founded in 2015 originally as Convergent Technology Advisors, PrivOps is creating the next generation of technologies for building secure, compliant applications in the cloud. Their technologies accelerate innovation with software that makes it possible to grow revenue while simultaneously keeping customer and employee data secure and compliant. Early in his career, Tyler invented an automated testing platform for HP's most advanced Superdome servers, and was awarded 22 U.S. patents for this innovation. Over the last 20 years, Tyler has held various technical and business roles including product leader for Rackspace's $600 million private cloud computing practice and leadership of strategic IT technology alliances, and most recently launched PrivOps. Tyler holds a B.S.E.E. degree from Florida Atlantic University and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.

DEC 20 Charlie Paparelli,
President and founder of Paparelli Ventures.
  Charlie is a professional angel investor focused on the Atlanta tech community. In his twenty four years as an angel he has invested in over thirty companies. He shares his experience in a twice weekly blog at www.paparelli.com. He is the angel in residence at the ATDC and a mentor at ATV. He also leads an angel organization called Angel Lounge whose mission is to encourage angel investing by becoming more competent investors in early stage companies. Charlie is also President of the High Tech Prayer Breakfast.
